Debra Scott Russell is an American painter. Her original works of art are characterized by bright, bold, beautiful colors and fluid forms. She is self-taught and defines her abstract paintings as happy, feel good art. A few of her favorite artists are Wassily Kandinsky, Cy Twombly and Vincent Van Gogh. In addition to painting, Debra displays her artistic skills in her work as a chocolatier, photographer and, most recently, author. She currently resides at Falling Leaves Cottage in Thomasville, Georgia with her group of loyal dachshunds.
